[AusNOG] Data Retention Workshop - Tuesday 28th July

I should add though that I expect the real value of the event is going to
be around the "real world DRIP authoring" component; subject to any legal
restrictions I don't know about I don't see a problem with making available
the strategies and info we determine would be retained/stored/etc.

At this stage I'm expecting we'll be looking at a bunch of common ISP/CSP
related services like xDSL/NBN (both terminated and VISP), e-mail, WANs,
ethernet circuits, VoIP and VM hosting. I'm keen, where possible to not
just look at the "paperwork" aspect but the practical aspects of how we
might make Postfix/Exchange/FreeRADIUS/Asterisk/FreeSwitch/… retain the
data we are interested in as well as store it.

What we do here will to be a point be governed by replicability, relevance
to those that are there and time constraints (you can only do so much in
2.5 hours!).

Thanks,
Andrew
