[AusNOG] TPG Routing: Melbourne to Melbourne Via Brisbane?

So, to recap, we have spent the last 12 hours troubleshooting routing on a residential-grade TPG service with little knowledge of why it’s a problem for the OP or whether it’s working any differently from normal?

I suspect most would have been spending the last 12 hours rolling their eyes.  Can’t we organise a Whirlpool account or something? :)

Welcome to TPG,

This can be normal, TPG Bris-> TPG/PIPE Bris  often goes via TPG/PIPE Syd :)

Nothing to see here that hasn't been going on since they bought PIPE, someone once did tell me their reasoning, but that was a long time ago, I laughed then, I laugh today.

		@David, 103.18.204.4 is on the same network/location and that routes perfectly fine, straight to tpg all the way in, as we peer with TPG :d, ill try a back trace and see where it goes for that same network im having the issues with,
