[AusNOG] Choice says using Netflix is NOT Piracy

Just watching channel ABC's Morning News show (815am AEST Tueasday 9/9/2014)

Choice CEO Alan Kirkland was just on TV telling viewers that their opinion
is that using Netflix is NOT illegal and that the government needs to do
something to make it more clear.

He seemed to be rather articulate and understood you need a VPN (mostly) to
access content, but that users are PAYING for content and essentially that
they should not be considered pirates.

He also mentioned that Foxtel and others mark up content to Australians
anywhere up to 300-400%.

It is a very good thing that these issues are getting more widespread
publicity... the more the better.
