Interesting.  Alex's appears to still be ~2ms Chris, does a traceroute
from you to 8.8.8.8 happen to go over a tpg link anywhere perchance?
I wonder if they've either screwed something up, or have umm, "decided
to cease peering" with someone (or simply prefering transit links).
