But on the downside, you miss out on a trip to Bunbury

Back on-topic, I always find it helpful to take note of how many of the 8 lights are on for sync (ie. how many pairs are in use) so that at some later stage if one of them goes off (or continually flashing to indicate sync problems) then you know what it "should" look like when it was all working after the install and you tested that you were getting the required speed. As has been discussed previously on this list there is no notification if any or the pairs drop out so the only way you'll know is if you notice a drop in speed or you look at the NTU and see a difference in the lights to see that something might be wrong.

regards,
Tony.

Thanks All for the help

It’s a Hatteras NTU
Was a few weeks since the install and I forgot the type of NTU

Saving me a trip to Bunbury.

Hatteras, maybe?

Here’s a picture of the 8-pair model: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3kn3esj2cmslffb/Screenshot%202014-05-27%2022.34.12.png

Hey Guys

Odd request. Does anyone have a picture of the front of a AAPT EOC NTU (I can’t remember what I have its all the way in Bunbury)

I really don’t want to drive 4 hours round trip to plug in a new Cisco 1941 to it.
If I could grab a picture I can make a picture guide for someone to do down there and save me time and fuel and Perth drivers ☺
