[AusNOG] disposal of equipment (lighthearted comment)

A 5 lb. (sorry, but I am guessing at the metric equivalent,2 kg ?)
club hammer will wreak havoc on most equipment, and yet remain a little
less
than obvious to the long arm of the law, should your preference be less than
honourable.
And flash drives are dispatched (bad pun) in a flash.

This sized hammer can prove most efficacious, and satisfactory in a
variety of
scenarios. From warning the ponce with the Ferrari who fancies your
carpark,
to suggesting the same to the kid who feels inclined to key your wagon.
Not to mention power packs for vital equipment that die at the worst
possible time,
vendors who went broke in sympathy with the power packs, and the latest
greatest software
that is better than anything since sliced bread, but actually doesn't do
anything meaningful
unless you poke and prod it, and also the developers, but there is a new
venture capital
king in town, and they are going pump money into this venture because
this seemingly useless
software is going to save the world.

Welcome to the world of IT. Where sometimes, a 5 lb club hammer seems
like the only escape
from the madness.
Just kidding.
An ordinary hammer will do- things are so much smaller these days. :-D
