The "pink bats" and "home solar" fiascos, it became clearly evident that 
it was a case of a quick splash for cash and give a few mates a license to 
print money sweetheart deal.

I got to "encounter" a number of "licensed/approved" solar installers who 
had done the coarse, paid their bribe^H^H^H^H fee and were now on the 
"permitted" list who had little or no idea what the hell they were doing. 
No concept of electricity, electrical safety or practical installation of 
panels. (I wasn't aware that PV works just as well in the permanent shade 
of 60' tree that cast shaddows over the installation for 100% of the solar 
day).

Off topic and I'm not going down this particular rabbit-hole!
