The "device" we're discussing is a battery powered,
Bluetooth connected piece of test equipment.

I seriously doubt there are any safety issues associated with the signals
that it may impose on the cabling.

Are we afraid of Exchange Battery and/or POE shorts and fires ?

Or are we all just paranoid ?
