[AusNOG] iiNet hosting out

Chris,

There is only so low a price and so many clients you can jam onto a webserver before it reaches the point where it becomes unviable and runs the risk of something catastrophic happening.

Many hosters think that the newest and the best hardware is the answer, but in fact the answer lies more in the monitoring and the management of the server.

I haven't read into much about what is the exact issue with iiNet Hosting but I could put dibbs on it was lack of monitoring that allowed the issue to get out of hand.

Haha Jarred, your funny :P

Hi Matthew

After this my clients are thinking of some redundancy for their hosting. Regarding your signature, what makes you #1 for hosting? (as in how is that measured?)

Rofl they should leave the hosting to the people who know what they are doing (like me) and concentrate on being an ISP

Just my 10 cents
