No it won't connect nor work.  There is no SFP+ that downrates to 1G speeds.

That said, its certainly possible for a vendor to manufacture a piece of
equipment that can take either SFP+ and SFP and operate SFP at 1G and 100M.
No idea if a Brocade MLXe SFP+ port can do that though or if Megaport use
SFP+ type transceivers for 10G.
