[AusNOG] Network monitoring software

At a $previous_employer we found that the observium SNMP poller had some 
substantial performance issues when scaling above a few hundred 
endpoints-- especially if you're dealing with xDSL or inter-capital latency.
The "set and forget" and the automatic discovery is pretty shiny, though.
