[AusNOG] Static IP on a 3G/4G mobile service

No static IPs on Telstra.extranet or Telstra.internet as far as I know. You would need a private APN with radius address assignment.

Alternatively, if the embedded device supports dynamic DNS, that may be the may to go, depending on how much you would trust the solution.

Unfortunately this is not practical/feasible due to the limited capabilities of the embedded device.
