[AusNOG] Packet Loss on PIPE Ethernet service's in Melbourne

It would surprise me. When the PIPE loss stops if the AAPT services in question are restored at the same time, well there might be something to it.
Regardless, I'm not seeing any fault with any of our AAPT services.

Maybe AAPT use PIPE to some exchanges.

Hi Tom,

Na it's on AAPT services.

One is in Geelong and I think the other is on the Windsor exchange.

It might be unrelated, however the packet loss started at the same time. The other 50 odd AAPT connections are ok

Im not seeing any loss on AAPT mid-band-ethernet.
PIPE-IP in melb is fine also.
PIPE-MEL-IX fine too.
Pretty sure AAPT backhaul their own connections.

Is the loss your seeing on TPC EoC services?

Tom.

Cool Thanks guys, I am also seeing it on "some" AAPT services in Melbourne.

I think AAPT use PIPE for their backhaul?

Things went screwy here just on 0402Z (2:02pm NSW time).
