[AusNOG] Mike Quigley has resigned

Some facts here;

IPv6 - supported - source http://www.computerworld.com.au/article/472049/rsps_demanding_ipv6_services_nbn/
SNIP "NBN Co announced IPv6 compatibility for data services on the NBN around 18 months ago."
SNIP2 "So far Internode is the only RSP to offer IPv6 services on the NBN."

Multicast - supported - source http://www.nbnco.com.au/industry/service-providers/product-components/multicast.html

Web site www.nbnco.com.au on IPv6 - NO AAAA record present
If this is what was meant by no IPv6 then far point, but should be said more clearly - e.g. their web (www.nbnco.com.au) site does not support IPv6 the network does.

Thanks
Michael.

@Robert I was about to post that too. Then I presupposed he was talking about the website nbnco.com.au<http://nbnco.com.au>.

I've always liked how www.nbnco.com.au<http://www.nbnco.com.au> doesn't support IPv6.

Start as you mean to go on...

The NBN is protocol agnostic. It's up to the RSPs to offer IPv6 services over it if they wish to do so.
