AusNOG,

CAIA and Netflix Inc. are pleased to announce a newly funded full-time PhD position in high performance, IP-based content delivery.

Admittedly, the direct relevance to AusNOG might seem tangential. Nevertheless, I am hoping this opportunity could be of interest to someone currently in the industry who has wondered about returning to full-time study leading to a PhD.

Key points:

  - The successful applicant will be provided with a tax-free stipend (living allowance) of $32K to $34K AUD per year and a full tuition fee waiver

  - Applications should be received by 5pm January 14th 2014 (Melbourne time)

cheers,
gja
