Yup, certainly something strange going on.

Traces from IP sources of 175.107.128.0/18 - approximately 20% of traces fail after hitting 59.154.57.82 depending on source IP
Traces from IP sources of 203.88.112.0/21 - everything fails after hitting 59.154.57.82
Traces from IP sources of 113.20.0.0/20 - as far as I can tell all work

Haven't bothered testing any others. This is also regardless of route ie
network > aapt > optus (dead) or > mactel (success)
network > internode > optus (dead) or > mactel (success)
