AARNet run a local broker, which we could presumably choose to use instead as a
topologically closer PoP. (http://broker.aarnet.net.au/)

I used to use it courtesy of tunnel broker clint software on my desktop - so only my
machine was aware of it.

When I installed the new router, it automagically set up the tunnel to HE and
distributed the routes etc to the entire LAN, so I don't need the local client link to
AARNet any more - but on the downside I've traded 20+ms first-hop latency for 160+ ms
first hop latency for IPv6 traffic only. For experimental use its OK, but I'd prefer
Optus started handing out native IPv6 so I could become topologically local again.
