[AusNOG] Hotel room device identification

Based on what you said about the wallplates I'm going to assume you're not
looking for a semi-permanent device but something you can take around and
plug in wherever you go?
If that's the case then my recommendation would be this:
http://routerboard.com/RB951-2n ($63). Works as router, switch, wireless
access point; choose your own adventure network-topology.
