[AusNOG] Vint Cerf, Sally Wentworth (ISOC) appear before US Gov relating to attempts of UN (ITU) to take over the Internet

I have to second this, the internet seriously does not want/need to be
managed by the UN (ITU). We think things are ³bad² today but if they took
over running the Net the freedoms we currently have would be eroded by self
serving technocrats dominated by Third World groups that don¹t want freedom
of speech for their own ends.

By all means agree or disagree with my view point but please inform
yourselves first.
