Not sure if I will get flamed for this...

I would like to invite ausnog members in Brisbane to the sage-au QLD
chapter meeting on November the 1st.

This meeting will be of particular interest to ausnog people as Opengear
will be doing a presentation of their kit.

"Opengear and Remote Site Management"

A 45min session from Brendan Baker (Sales Engineer & Business
Development Manager - Opengear Pty Ltd) on Opengear's infrastructure
management solutions.  Opengear designs and manufacture next generation
console servers for secure remote access and control of routers,
switches, servers, firewalls, uninterruptible power supplies, power
distribution units and environmental monitoring devices.   Opengear
devices provide the virtual hands to access and control networking
equipment in remote offices, computers in data centers and the smart
device infrastructure distributed all over the world. Equipment can be
remotely reconfigured, managed or even power cycled, drastically
reducing the need for onsite technicians or truck-roll  This talk will
discuss Opengear's remote management solutions, product line & will
demonstrate some of the key features designed for system administrators
and managed service providers, along with Opengear's continuing
commitment to the open source community.
