[AusNOG] Favor - A Cisco IOS for a SUP720-3BXL

I've been in similar situations before where hardware has arrived before the smartnet agreement has been sighted and things are bad, usually one telephone call to the sales rep / account manager get it's resolved, surprised it had to go this far to be asking on a public mailing list for support from the community, makes you want to jump vendor.

Wow, the response was quick, and I thank everyone who offered, and the person who uploaded it for me.

This community rocks.

Hey guys,

I know this might seem odd, perhaps even inappropriate… but I have a customer who has purchased two SUP720-3BXL's and is planning to install them this weekend.

They also purchased SmartNet for the devices, but the supplier is saying it is 4-6 weeks to activate the agreement… which can be typical from Cisco.

So I guess I'm asking two things. 1) Trust me that the customer has purchased the SmartNet (I could provide invoices if I need to) and 2) if you have these devices, and under SmartNet, if you could get me a copy of the IOS files – which I believe are:

s72033-ipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-33.SXJ.bin

I would be most appreciative if anyone was able to help.

If anyone is massively offended by this request… I'm sorry, it wasn't designed to offend… just trying to deal with a situation of the slow sales cycle.

Thanks.
