[AusNOG] [off-list'ish] iPod/iPhone weekend hack challenge

If one's daughter changes the pin of her iPod and forgets it would one be able to get access to same?  I remember there was a few versions of iOS 4.x that had a bug that let you bypass the pin code through a series of key entries.  Let's assume that [if] this happened her iPod was never synch'd to a PC and all purchases were done over the air (not backed up) with no primary computer to mention.

Any pointers if such a process exists would be appreciated.  Carton of Peroni (or similar) to anyone that comes up with a work around!

iPod Touch 4th Gen
Assume iOS is the same as the day it was delivered when released (or somewhere around there)
