[AusNOG] Flooding in Rockhampton - What can AUSNOG do?

It is a great idea (maybe in the winter). Getting it out of Sydney
should be good for the event.

The one thing I know is that organising a conference like AusNOG
requires a lot of on the ground time in the same city (I doubt AusNOG 1
and 2 would have happened without James [or an equivalent] in Sydney).
You can get around this but it requires the insertion of cash to get the
boots on the ground in your place and invariably it never goes the same
way unless organisers have an active presence. Are there volunteers up
that way that can help ?

I actually spent longer in Emerald than Rocky as a kid - I have seen a
few floods in my life, maybe I should start sand bagging my place
here...
