[AusNOG] Flooding in Rockhampton - What can AUSNOG do?

I personally don't think hosting AUSNOG at a regional venue will be a drama, being a country boy myself I welcome the idea of hosting these types of events in regional area's, I think it's a great idea.

APRICOT moves around every year, why cant AUSNOG? why not make it a permanent arrangement and host AUSNOG at a different venue each year?

I'd also be really interested to learn more about 2 things here, building networks that are disaster proof, and rapid deployments of networks in disaster affected area's, looks to me to be a great theme given the current circumstances.

I for one would love any excuse to see more of Australia. Having lived
here all my life I've really only been to Brisbane and Sydney.

+1 for varying the location of Ausnog a bit - a regional center could be
extra fun as long as the full range of accommodation options are available.
