What are some models of femtocells and what are they worth?
Are you saying that Optus does support them? What other carriers do?

Hi all, a little off topic I know but I thought this would be the best place to ask.
Does anyone have any experience with femtocell’s? I had to take a day off work yesterday day to have an important 5 way phone call only to have my mobile constantly drop out which had the end result of having o reschedule the phone call. I am currently with Optus who have admitted poor coverage in my area to the extent that have cancelled my contract 23 months early!
I have looked at Telstra for alternatives but I do not like the fact you cannot get insurance for your phones through them. Which leaves me looking at a femtocell thru Optus. However their usual tech support guys have no idea what I am talking about when I even mention femtocell. However knowing that I will be providing the backhaul how much data would it consume for a heavy user? Ie: when I am at home my mobile is my primary phone.
