[AusNOG] The death of NBN 2.0 [very off-topic]

Guys,

I made a call this week regarding NBN 2.0. One of the recipients said if I believed I was right, then I should say it publicly and put a wager on it. So here is the post and my wager which is that I will go to Canberra and personally shine Senator Conroy's shoes on the steps of Parliament House.

If I am right, the other party (who will receive this email via Ausnog) will need to be prepared to publicly accept my end of the wager on the list by the end of the week. Sorry for the interruption and let's go back to normal programming.

Cheers

Subject: The Death of NBN 2.0

Guys,

I am going to make a big call and suggest you mark down the 18th November, 2010 in your calendar. It will be the day that NBN 2.0 became terminal. Either produce the Red Book and business case, that shows there is no business case and massive risk to the tax-payer, or don't produce it and the momentum of anger will grow as fast as they "burn the goodwill" of those that support it. Either way - it dies
