I'm sorry if I have given the wrong impression... there is nothing "Windows only" about our NextMail product - it all
works perfectly well with any FOSS that supports v6, and still delivers all of the benefits (control, traceability etc)
that I mentioned for the schools and their students.

When I demonstrate it to schools I setup a little netbook running Ubuntu and Drupal as the demo remote student's unit.
I then show how another student on another laptop (any OS) can access and interact with the remote student. For my demo
I have both the netbook and the laptop using prepaid wireless modems from different Telco's to emphasise
the independence.

Having said that, the MS reps are really excited that our solution enables remote use of the MS DA feature of Windows 7
for the schools. From our perspective that's just a side benefit that we're welcome to have. More to the point of this
thread, it clearly gave an example for Skeeve of rewards achievable only on IPv6.

The message here, from me to the industry in general is: you have this great new protocol that gives you the ability to
offer things to your clients that you have previously not been able to...
Get out there and innovate, for the benefit of your clients, and for your own reward.

Doomsday is so last year!

Regards

Kevin
