Hi Noggers,

Okay so here is the scenario,
I have one Cisco 1811 integrated services router with a number of Fast Ethernet interfaces on it,

What I want to do is make a dual Wan failover setup with the following configuration
(Note: I am not asking someone to just give me a config because I won't learn that what, but pointers and tips are most welcome :D)

Wan1 (Primary internet connection)
	Interface: FastEthernet0
	IP Address: Static

Wan2 (Backup Internet connection)
	Interface: FastEthernet1
IP Address: Assigned by PPPoE Client (Modem is in bridged mode so need to authenticate with some type of dialer interface + PPPoE)

NAT0 (VLAN1)
	Interface: FastEthernet2
	IP Address: 10.0.2.1 / 24
Services: QOS / Port Forwarding / DHCP / Firewall / DPI

Notes:
Okay so basically I need the LAN traffic to route through the primary int, but in the event that it is lost (Modem dies or even better if it looses ping with the next hop) then switch over to WAN2
Alternatively let me manually switch between the gateways

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 FastEthernet0
no ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 FastEthernet1 //Turn this one on when the Primary interwebs drops and turn the FastEthernet IP route off ?

Any help much appreciated!

Cheers!
