[AusNOG] iiNet in Trading Halt...

Sources say only AAPT's consumer business, with 120,000 high-churn and low-value broadband subscribers, has found a new home. iiNet has been suggested as the buyer, in a deal which will add about 20 per cent to the ISP's 530,000 customers.

If the speculation is correct, a sale of AAPT's 18 per cent interest in iiNet, and 10 per cent stake in Macquarie Telecommunications, are likely to follow.
