Nominations for APNIC Executive Council close soon

Hi AUSNOG Community,


Nominations for the three positions open for election on the APNIC
Executive Council (EC) will close on Wednesday, 17 February 2010 (17:30
UTC +10). Nominees do not have to be representatives of Members, but
only APNIC Members may nominate and vote for candidates.

Nominations must be made using the online nomination form:

      http://meetings.apnic.net/29/whats-on/elections/nominate

The EC positions up for reelection are:

      - Akinori Maemura
      - Che-Hoo Cheng
      - Ma Yan

The election will be held at APNIC 29 in Kuala Lumpur on Friday, 5
March 2010.

Nominees should note that positions on the APNIC EC are currently
voluntary and that APNIC may not be able to reimburse EC Members all
expenses associated with EC duties. Where possible, however, APNIC will
reimburse actual expenses for attendance at APNIC meetings, providing
that these fall within budget and cash flow constraints. If you have
