Internode, iiNet respond to Telstra price "aggression"

Lets see what happens after the election, which apparently won't be properley counted for another week when all the absentee votes come in (www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2010/08/21/2989707.htm) in the mean time I'm sure the media and politicians will continue speculating and making stories to get ratings.

I know a lot of this kind of thing came to light all those years ago but I never heard what ended up happening. You can see this highlighted in this ACCC briefing:

It's under the section "Telstra and High Speed Internet Service", basically gave Telstra 12 weeks to change the practice.

It's always been this way. 






so at what point did Telstra's attitude start to suck and is there a snowflakes chance in hell of having a level playing field (or something close to it) if you can speak to the right people? or are there no "right people" anywhere in Telstra who have the mindset to listen? 



There's no desire to fix it. Telstra don't consider there to be a problem as long as they can game the system.
