Hi Noggers,

I'm heading to DevOps Down Under, and it might be of interest to some of
you guys as well. See the blurb below, or over here[1] if you're not
familiar with the DevOps concept.

Note that I'm not affiliated with the conference (but one of my friends
is organising).

Cheers,

Matt

DevOps Down Under is a conference about helping developers and
sysadmins/web operations folk work better together.

The recently formed DevOps movement focuses on making deployment less
risky and more reliable, sharing systems and development knowledge
between traditionally siloed teams, and applying development and Agile
methodologies in to the practice of systems administration
(essentially, treating infrastructure as code).

The conference will be on May 1 + 2 at the Atlassian offices in
Sydney. Programme and location information can be found on the website
at http://devopsdownunder.org/ , and signups are at
http://devopsdownunder.eventbrite.com/. Tickets cost $50 per person
and cover food + drink for both days.

The speaker lineup includes a who's who of Australia's top sysadmin
and developer talent, and talks will cover DevOps and Agile processes
+ methodologies, and building better tools for both sysadmins and
developers.

We also have very flexible sponsorship options - if you or your
employer is interested in sponsoring the conference I'd
(lindsay at holmwood.id.au) like to hear
from you!

See you there!
