[AusNOG] Sat link in Indonesia

Provided you have coverage. The Ipstar spot beams are relatively tight, and
your service is registered against the beam, which is in turn controlled by a
specific gateway.

Services that use the shaped beam are relatively generic, and the remote can
generally be used anywhere within that beam.

So,
a) yes it will (probably) work
b) would they be able to tell - yes, as your network timing would change, and
c) would they care - probably not as long as you are paying your bill and are
not causing problems with the network.

Forgive my ignorance-- but assuming this is a 2-way sat service,
what's to stop you configuring the service in .au and picking it up
and moving it to somewhere else (assuming the sat has coverage where
you're taking it)

I guess the question is two pronged, would it a) work and b) would
they be able to tell?
