Renesys provides a pretty wide range of data and analysis to larger  
ISPs and carriers in the U.S. and Europe, and they do very good work.   
They're also very good about sharing information at NOGs, so you can  
get a bit of a taste of what they do by looking through the archived  
presentations from NANOG, etc.

Arbor provides some similar services, mostly as analysis in  
conjunction with use of their hardware, I believe.
