They are usually solid with excellent call quality but as you can imagine
when your Incoming numbers go down when yo uhave hundreds of them for your
Corporate systems and Customers it does become a bit of an issue L

Yep, I would say that is correct.

We were all fine.

Thanks goodness for that as we have only just moved our trunks to MNF last
month.

Cheers.

Darren,

MNF/Symbio may have a point of presence in Melbourne and your trunks may not
have been impacted by the interruptions to the Sydney presence, if this is
the case that restores some of my faith in Symbio.

Interesting MNF was out.

We have 30 trunks and did not see any downtime today.

Joel,

Interesting, we have spoken with our Account Manager don't you worry. We
have about 11 or so racks scattered around SY1 in clusters and luckily we
got away quite well today but I feel sorry for the others who didn't such as
MNF/Symbio, PT, Optus etc.

Apparently the reports of SY2 issues were a mistake from the AP NOCC

well I guess it depends how many racks you have at EQX...

we have a number of racks in SYD1 in different parts of the building

power issue has been in SYD1 only so far, and has taken rows of racks outs
during power outages

if you go dig up some old threads on whingelpool you will even find links to
pictures... of blown fuse etc...

you could say we have been unlucky but after 5 outages... hmmmm,

luckly todays outage wasnt that bad, we have had couple of 3 hour outages
during business hours back in March

for those that have racks at EQX and this was you first outage... get some
answers from your account managers to make sure this kind of crap doesnt
happen again.

I know they are others on the this list that know of the 5 outages I am
talking about... they might have been more, I can only speak for the once
that I know of.

ok time to go watch tennis :)

regards
Joel

This would be the second I count in the past 12 months with the first only
being isolated to a small amount of racks, If you have had 5 in the last 3
months then something is really wrong!

Hi Guys,

Not sure how many outages you guys have had at EQX

>From my count this was the 5 power related outage at Equinix since March 09

my home pc has better uptime than EQX currently.

Joel
