If you can predict what the reality of PIPE will be in 6/12/18 months, and
you're happy to bet your business on that prediction, then good luck to you.

To look at this a different way, what is Telstra had bought PIPE instead of
TPG? Would you be taking the same position?  I'm presuming not, in which
case you've based your future predictions on a belief that TPG will act
different in the same situation to what Telstra would - do you necessarily
have the required facts to come to that conclusion?

Like (I'm guessing) most others on this list I'm hoping that you're right,
and that the PIPE IX does continue much the same as it is today for the
foreseeable future.  But anyone whos business would be negatively influenced
if things do change would be silly not to start considering contingencies,
"just in case".
