On behalf of the organisers of AusNOG-02 I would like to announce that
registration for the event is now available via the new AusNOG web
site at www.ausnog.net.

This year's event will be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibiton
Centre in Darling Harbor (Sydney, Australia) on August 21 and 22,
2008. With the growing reputation of AusNOG, we have been able to
secure a fantastic range of local and international speakers including
regular NANOG presenters and IETF participants. This is a fantastic
opportunity for Australian network operators who may not be in a
position to regularly attend conferences outside of Australia to hear
these speakers share their knowledge and experiences. Some of the
organisations providing speakers include Google, Cisco, Juniper, Arbor
Networks, Equinix, Packet Clearing House and APNIC to name a few.

In conjunction with AusNOG-02, APNIC will be running a training day on
the 20th of August (the day before AusNOG-02). That training day will
offer session on Internet Resource Management, and IPv6 (including
configuration and deployment). The APNIC training day is offered free
of charge to all AusNOG delegates.

Early bird registration is open as of today and will be available for
the next 2 weeks. Standard registration will commence on the 1st of
August. The registration fees for this year's event are $600 (early
bird) and $650 (standard).

For further information about AusNOG-02 including a summary of the
speakers and programme, accommodation options, and on-line
registration, please visit the web site http://www.ausnog.net
