[AusNOG] Equinix + Soul Outage

Quality (and typical) Soul... details received minutes ago:

They had a power rail in their rack at Equinix fail and when everything
rebooted their wholesale router didn't come back.

(which they noticed earlier in the week was flakey)

but this all happened before they had a chance to properly test the
replacement router and then the new router didn't like the configs.

They're still having major some problems for customers who use specific
features on their MPLS network - which is still causing massive chaos for at
least one of my customers.

Did this start around 11am by any chance?

/me looks though the window into the NOC and see's a customer at Equinix
who lost about half their traffic volume at that time...

Hey all,

Anyone using Soul/Comindico in Equinix (NSW) seems to be dead at the
moment.  Anyone know what happening?

It has taken out 4 of my customers so far... fun fun.
